Edgehog traders are excellent stewards of risk and are capable of providing liquidity in any
market condition. Because every decision is made with factual, data-driven inputs, traders are
expected to confidently stand by their actions and proactively and effectively communicate any
deviation from expected value.
What you will do:
• Cultivate and grow relationships with trading counterparties
• Proactively manage the desk’s position to ensure the portfolio falls within assigned
risk limits
• Monitor trading algorithms and provide feedback to researchers and developers on
areas of improvement
• Devise new, innovative ways to tune trading parameters to increase desk profitability
• Work across the entire organization to improve systems and overall firm performance
Qualifications and Skills:
• Junior trader with 0-1 years experience speaking with brokers and making markets.

• Capable of accurately and expeditiously pricing options under demanding market
conditions
• Comfortable in confidently making fast decisions in high pressure environments
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or
related field
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational
excellence
• Python programming skills are a plus, but not required
